Why US-Manufactured Peptides Matter: cGMP, Cleanrooms, and Chain of Custody
"Made in the USA" gets stamped on a lot of peptide marketing. For Star Distribution it describes a specific, auditable process: raw material verified at the source, fill and lyophilization in certified domestic cleanrooms, and documentation that follows every lot from powder to vial.
What cGMP actually changes
Current Good Manufacturing Practice isn't a logo; it's a discipline of written procedures, trained personnel, environmental controls, and batch records. The practical difference for a buyer is consistency — the tenth lot behaves like the first, because the process is controlled rather than improvised.
Certified cleanrooms, not "clean rooms"
Fill and lyophilization happen inside certified cleanroom suites: an ISO-7 cleanroom, an ISO-8 gowning anteroom, and ISO-5 laminar-flow clean benches. Certification to ISO 14644-1 by an independent testing firm covers airborne particle counts, air exchange rates, differential pressure, and HEPA filter leak testing, with scheduled retesting. That's the environment your vials are filled in.
API from green-list manufacturers
Active pharmaceutical ingredient is sourced directly from green-list registered manufacturers under our own import logistics — no broker in the middle. Every shipment is tested for purity and assay before it enters production. Domestic manufacturing without verified inputs is only half the story; we do both.
Chain of custody you can follow
Each lot is traceable from API source to finished vial. When a client asks "where did this come from and how do you know it's right," the answer is a document trail, not a promise.
Why it matters commercially
Practices and brands rarely lose customers over price; they lose them over a bad lot. Domestic, documented manufacturing is how "consistent" becomes a fact rather than a hope — and it's why thousands of vials leave our facilities every month for accounts that came to us after an overseas supplier let them down.
