How to Order from Star Distribution: From Account to Delivery
Ordering from Star Distribution is built to be simple for busy practices and brands: one account, one form, one confirmation email. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you decide to order to the day the vials arrive.
Step 1 — Create a Partner Portal account
Go to the Partner Portal and create an account with your name, company, and work email. Accounts are for licensed practices, research brands, and distributors. Nothing is charged and no card is requested — the portal is an ordering and communication tool, not a checkout.
Step 2 — Build your purchase order
Inside the portal you'll find a single request form that covers everything: finished vials, raw API quotes, and sample requests. For a standard order, add line items from the catalog picker, then choose strength in milligrams, vial size, and quantity. If your account has been assigned pricing, unit prices and a subtotal appear as you build. Products without a preset price show "Quote" and are confirmed by email.
Step 3 — Submit and receive your PO number
Submitting generates a PO number (for example MX-20260920-K4R2) that appears on screen and in every email about that order. Keep it — it's the fastest way to reference the order later.
Step 4 — Confirmation from the team
Your order goes directly to the Star Distribution team, usually answered within one business day. The confirmation covers availability, lead time, final pricing, and any documentation you asked for. Because most orders are produced to order, typical lead time is one to two weeks from confirmed PO; private-label runs follow the same timeline once artwork is approved.
Step 5 — Invoice and payment
Invoicing happens off the website. First orders are prepaid; approved accounts move to Net 30. We accept ACH and wire. No payment ever runs through the portal itself.
Step 6 — Shipping and documentation
Product ships from US facilities, released at 99%+ purity by HPLC. Cold-chain-appropriate packaging is standard, and ground shipping reaches all 50 states.
